Using my new foundation brush – Matto Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush

Amazon continues to surprise me between all the things it can do. Same day shipping, grocery delivery, streaming shows (Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a hit in our house) and so much more.

I also have a tad bit of a shopping addiction to the marketplace app, and I thought “why not share the neat things I find here?”

The thing I LOVE about Amazon is that they make the return process so easy, so there’s no hassle and no stress around trying new products.

This month, I am L O V I N G the following items, and I think you will too! Several of the products I discovered this month are also affordable alternatives to more expensive brands. I can’t wait to share!

The Cocktail Box – Old Fashioned – $25 – Buy  |  Venu Activated Charcoal Shampoo & Conditioner Set – $23 – Buy |  Matto Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush – $8 – Buy |  QuiFit 64 OZ Water Bottle (BPA Free) – $20 – Buy |  Recipes for A Perfect Marriage (Used) – $5 – Buy |  Sonicare Toothbrush Replacement Head – $17 – Buy

The Cocktail Box – Old Fashioned – $25 – Buy

An instant Old Fashioned – what more do you want?! This can travel with you or you can keep it in your bar for back up. It literally has all the ingredients you need (minus the whiskey). It makes the PERFECT gift. I actually gifted it to John for his 36th birthday this year!

Venu Activated Charcoal Shampoo & Conditioner Set – $23 – Buy

Charcoal shampoo and conditioner is all the rage right now because it has the ability to strip your hair of the harsh chemicals we use on a daily basis (ie dry shampoo, hair spray, texturizing spray, heat protecting spray, etc…). I was looking for a more affordable option (vs Dry Bar set which totals $52 for both) and found this set.

I have tried it several times and LOVE it. It makes my hair feel E X T R A clean after using. I use it about once per week and swap between this and Oribe (much more pricey but I get 4-6 months out of it when I alternate).

Matto Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush – $8 – Buy

If you’re one of the rare powder foundation users like me (AKA Bare Minerals Original Powder Foundation), you’ll LOVE this brush. Compared to the Bare Minerals brand or other brands I’ve tried, this one is much softer and works just as well.

It takes a couple of uses before it gets a little grit (which is the case with most brand new brushes), but so far I’m loving this cheaper alternative to apply my foundation.

QuiFit 64 OZ Water Bottle (BPA Free) – $20 – Buy

So I recently started The Fitt Cycle and it’s been SUPER important that I drink enough water throughout the day. For me, 8 glasses or 64 OZ is the perfect amount for my weight. This water bottle helps me know where I’m at for the day and I can take it to the office or carry it around my home. It’s easy to see where I stand all day and helps me stay motivated to chug!

Recipes for A Perfect Marriage (Used) – $5 – Buy

I’m weirdly obsessed with learning about how to have a good marriage (even though I’m not married lol!) #childofdivorceproblems and this book was recommended to me by my friends at The Everyday Therapy Podcast along with Sheryl Paul.

I ordered it used so it took a few weeks to come in, but I kid you not I’ve read half of it in two days. The author is hilarious and shares her real-life feelings on her first year of marriage. She’s a total relationship phob and goes through a journey where she discovers what real love and real marriage looks like. I absolutely loved it and think ya’ll will too!

Sonicare Toothbrush Replacement Head – $17 – Buy

This might be a more practical purchase, but to be honest, I hope it helps any of ya’ll who also have a Sonicare toothbrush because I had no clue where to buy the replacement head. Kind of gross fact but I hadn’t replaced mine once for years!!

I think you’re supposed to replace it every 3-6 months? Anyways – this is a cheap toothbrush head replacement set. I’m totally obsessed with my Sonicare because it leaves my teeth feeling like I just left the dentist. If you don’t have one yet, I say it’s definitely worth the investment!

That’s all I’ve got today, but I’m thinking I might start sharing my Amazon finds more frequently. What do ya’ll think?!
